Horton Plains: The Misty Highland Plateau

Horton Plains is a high-altitude wilderness characterized by montane grasslands and cloud forests. It is unique for its cold, misty climate and diverse endemic wildlife, including sambar deer and various bird species. The park is home to the famous "World's End" cliff drop. This is a moderate trek that requires a full morning. Visit from January to March during the dry season. Note: Plastic is strictly banned in the park; you must start your hike early to see the view before the mountain mist rolls in.
