Adam's Peak: The Sacred Pilgrimage

Adam's Peak is a 2,243-meter conical mountain revered as a sacred site by four major religions. The pilgrimage involves climbing thousands of stone steps, usually starting at midnight to reach the summit for sunrise. It is a challenging, physically demanding climb, best attempted during the pilgrimage season (December–April).
